Criteria:

Bachelor´s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related (Critical)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Design in a multinational company in Heavy Engineering industry, steel sector, Automotive, Piping, Marine Engineering or related (Critical)
Valuable technical knowledge: Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Steel Manufacturing, Welding
Proven knowledge of reading and interpreting Technical Drawings
Able to define materials, analyse production and prepare materials for projects
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks (Critical)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and user level of SAP
Must be compliance orientated with a high sense for detail,
Ability in producing accurate reports
Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability,
Daily Functions:

Responsibility in preparing jobs for manufacture including design specs, layout review, requirements compliance, and customer interface on product information. Develop from concept through production.
Responsible for the integration of materials, methods, and tools necessary to bring new products to the company portfolio.
Evaluating customer’s specifications and drawings
Analysing material list of the projects
Generating required technical drawings to give to production and giving them to production in a controlled manner using PLM
Design and develop a product or product family.
Ensure production procedures efficiently utilize materials, methods and personnel.
Establish test procedures for quality assurance of finished product.
Assist in selection of material
Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Analyses and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.
Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
