Process Engineer (EE)

Criteria:

Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, ideally in Process, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (CRITICAL)
Minimum 3 years of experience in Process Engineering, Developing Continuous Improvement, LEAN Manufacturing, TPM, FMEA studies and initiatives in a subsidiary plant of a multinational company in Heavy industry, steel sector or related
Sound technical knowledge: Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Steel Manufacturing, Welding and Surface Treatment Processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and user level of SAP
Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Solidworks.
Must be compliance orientated with a high sense for detail, able to produce reports of high accuracy


Daily functions:

Report to Engineering Manager

Responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation of manufacturing and manufacturing processes. To improve industrial processes in order to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, and improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.

Analyse customer specifications and work in coordination with production, with the aim of producing the goods according to customer requirements

Guarantee the efficiency of the production processes in terms of time, cost and methodology

Apply continuous improvements initiatives to production processes

Perform Lean Production, TPM, FMEA studies, and be responsible for related activities and projects.

Analyse time and methods and define times of all the production phases

Generating procedures, workflows, work instructions, SAP Routing

Follow-up projects and prepare reports to about status, highlighting achievements and possible improvements
