Role Description:
Guide the operations on the adoption and implementation of effective strategies, policies and best practices governing Transformation, Talent Management, Performance Management and Leadership Development
Key Responsibilities:
Align and operationalize the development of transformation, Performance Management and Talent Management strategies, policies and plans,
Ensure regulatory and governance compliance on matters including amongst others; Social and labour plans, Employment Equity Skills development, Mining Charter etc.
Coordinates and facilitates transformation and other related engagement forums
Ensure to maintain sufficient talent pipeline to meet current and future human capital requirements.
Manages the center and community skills development programs
Conduct regular compliance audits to ensure the alignments to relevant legislations, governance and legal standards
Ensure an effective performance management system in line with the objectives
Develop and implement the leadership development model
Manage the talent and Leadership Function within agreed budget and headcount constraints
Develop and implement Talent Assessment, Talent Development Review and Employee Engagement processes, policies and practices throughout the organization.
Facilitate organizational culture surveys, translation of results and implementation of culture improvement initiatives,
Address business needs by translating business requirements into Learning and Development requirements and by developing implementation plan/s.
Identify areas of resource inefficiencies and promote optimization through multi-skilling and addressing capacity gaps.
Must also manage our Schools Program, Internal and External Bursary Program, Graduate Management Program, Leadership Development Programs, Adult Education and Training, Portable Skills Training and Community Leadership Training
Education and experience:
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Psychology
Knowledge of relevant labor legislations (EEA, SDA, Mining Charter etc.
At least five years relevant human resources management experience preferably in the Mining environment
Knowledge and skills
Proven track record in a Transformation and Talent management roles
Advanced knowledge of MPRDA
Advanced computer skills including SAP HR
Physical/Legal Requirements:
Fit for Duty / Certificate of Fitness

Clear Credit / Criminal Record
Code 8 Drivers License
