REQUIREMENTS:
Matric PLUS Mechanical Qualification ESSENTIAL

Min 5 years of experience in repair & service of light and heavy-duty vehicles including trucks

Driver’s license - Code 8 or higher

Knowledge of all makes and models - diesel & petrol

Good understanding of workshop environment

Excellent technical diagnosing skills and technical knowledge

A team player who can mix well with his colleagues

Be able to work under pressure and meet demands and deadlines

DUTIES:
Take responsibility and comply with to all the company rules and regulations

Perform the standard tasks of a motor vehicle mechanic

Additionally, any ad-hoc tasks when required that perhaps does not form part of your exact job description

Engine over-hauling

Gearbox repairs

Attend to airbrakes

Work on cambelts, hydraulics and diagnostics

The general overall responsibilities of vehicle related repairs and services
