The successful incumbent is to control and follow up on current accounts for the Front Office and Reservations department, to perform an administrative and support function within the Front Office which will include assisting with guest related preparations for both groups and individual guests as well as maintain the quality and standards of the Westin Cape Town in accordance with Marriott International Policies and Procedures.
Required Experience & Qualifications
At least 2 β 3 yearsβ experience in a similar position within a Hotel environment.
An appropriate recognised qualification would be advantageous
Sound understanding of the Reservations and Front Office operations
Knowledge of Fidelio Opera
Knowledge of EMPOWER: Guest Experiences (GXP) advantageous
Basic knowledge of Marriott Billing
Good understanding of current accounts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
Key Responsibilities
Daily liaison with hotel guest and clients
Marriott redemptions
Marriott Billing
Assist on the Front Desk as and when operationally required
Assist with the pre-arrival planning of Individual Guests
Perform other duties as and when required
