Food and Beverage Manager
About the Position
Main Purpose of the Job:
Responsible for the Food & Beverage operations for the business unit in all areas (including restaurants, beverage operations, in-room dining facilities, banqueting operations), with specific regard to:
achieving profitability in specific outlets
improving of standards of operation
maximising customer satisfaction
facilities and product maintenance and enhancement
duty management shifts
ensuring all F&B and banqueting outlets (mentioned above) achieve the F&B strategy and objectives
Education, experience and competencies required:
Hotel School Diploma
Proficiency in English and an African language
7-8 years in the food and beverage industry including:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in banqueting
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role with accountability for own outlet and team.
Food and beverage experience in a Casino environment would be an advantage
