Credit Controller – Support Office Cape Town-BUCO

Purpose of the job: To offer a credit service to our customers, to collect the debtor’s book and to minimize risk to the company in terms of bad debt.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Credit approval – vetting & assessment of accounts/renewals and control of all mandates
Account management & Assist with any queries on accounts
Collections of overdue debts on due date
Debtors in legal status
Daily/weekly/monthly reporting to support office and branch level
Approving of prepaid accounts/quotes accounts (Uitenhage only)
Credit guarantee management
Control of adhering to national mandate requirements
Control of low cost projects admin and general administrative duties

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

Matric & Tertiary qualification (preferably in accounting and/or credit management)
4 years’ experience in a similar role
Good computer knowledge (MS Office)
Strong excel skills & Kerridge Knowledge
Knowledge of Credit Guarantee Insurance an advantage
