BSc in Food Science or Biotechnology; 5 years’ laboratory work experience; relevant qualification in sales or marketing advantageous; valid drivers’ license essential. Bilingual.*

Description: A leading laboratory that performs a comprehensive range of chemical and microbiological analyses and related services to the food and non-food industries is seeking a Client Relationship Representative to join their team. Duties will include but will not be limited to: visiting top clients on a regular basis and sharing new business initiatives that the company is introducing; liaising with clients regarding their future service needs and relaying these requirements to the OPS Managers and MD; bringing queries to the attention of the Laboratory Manager and the Quality Systems Manager; comparing disputed results together with the Laboratory Manager and Quality Systems Manager with original requisitions and information from invoices and COA’s; conferring with clients via telephone, email and in person to provide information about services, receiving orders, opening accounts or obtaining complaint details; contacting customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of investigation results and adjustments; keeping records of customer interactions via the CRM system and recording details of inquiries, complains, comments and actions taken; obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints together with the Laboratory Manager and Quality Systems Manager to determine possible causes; referring unresolved client grievances to OPS Manager, MD and designated departments for further investigation; direct point of contact internally/externally for designated customer relationships; taking primary responsibility for managing relationships with new and existing customers; acting as a brand ambassador and maintaining company image; complying with traffic regulations to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.





Key Requirements: BSc in Food Science or Biotechnology with 5 year’s laboratory work experience. Additional relevant qualification in marketing or sales will be advantageous. Valid drivers’ license essential. Bilingual.

Additional Requirements: Attention to detail, dependable and sympathetic to others. High level of composure under stressful and challenging situations; high level of stress tolerance.





Remuneration: Market-related.



Starting date: As soon as possible.
