SayHi is a growing provider in AVM and Voice services to the South African market. We are looking for a business development manager to join our team, to help us grow our business from strength to strength, with focus in Lead Generation, Insurance, Debt Collection, Call Centre and VOIP.

The successful applicant will be working closely with management and shareholders to build and grow the business, which will lead to amazing opportunities of personal growth.

Responsibilities include handling of outbound sales, generating interest, market research and general business development from a business development / sales point of view.

The business has existing support infrastructure, and stakeholders have the experience of building many successful businesses. As such you will be working alongside many smart and successful individuals in the tech sector in an entrepreneurial and ambitious office environment.

We are looking for a results driven individual, with a track record in building steady revenue streams for businesses in the telecommunications and technology sectors.

Responsibilities:

Identifying and targeting new sectors for AVM and Voice sales.

 

 
Develop and execute business development initiatives with aggressive targets

Identifies/qualifies/develops opportunities across various industries for selected Business Solutions.

Grow, Manage and maintain trust and strong business relationships with existing and new key accounts via person al visits, telephone calls, email contact, marketing and call centre campaign training with both marketing and sales teams to ensure we are delivering on requirements.

Build and maintain a large sales pipeline, with realistic goals and high success rates.

Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

Cold-calling newly identified customers through phone, email and/or Linkedin.

Identify new sales channels and work with management to tailor products to service new channels.

Monthly reporting, with clear objectives and goals.

Requirements:

Results driven & motivated by aggressive targets and performance incentives.

At least 5 years experience in sales in the telecommunications or technology sector.

Ability to work indepently, travel frequently and perform under a high stress environment.

Proven track record for success in a similar role - please supply ahead of interview.

Good business acumen is required.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel specifically)

Technically minded

Must understand and have implemented the principles of selling, deal conversion and closing techniques, objection handling, pipeline creation, demand generation, forecasting, profitability and the principles of ROI

Job Role: Permanent

Remuneration: R20 - R30k per month + high commission structure
