Requirements
A three-year diploma or Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate
Natural/Social Science and/or Education discipline or a Diploma or
Advanced Certificate in Environmental Education
Up to two years’ work experience
Experience in managing projects, programmes and campaigns
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
Computer proficiency in MS Office Applications
A valid Code EB driver’s licence
Willingness to work after hours and on weekends, when required
Key Performance Areas
Conducting research and investigations into various environmental
issues in order to compile environmental education presentations
and lessons
Organising environmental education programmes and campaigns
by liaising with target audiences and service providers
Coordinating and assisting with meetings and workshop facilitation
e.g teachers
Monitoring and evaluating the quality and success of
environmental education programmes through follow-up sessions
and feedback reports
Preparing routine reports referring to statistical data and qualitative
information relating to services within the functional area
Understanding and interpreting legal documents, laws, by-laws,
policies, procedures and practices affecting the functional area
Assisting with the development and reviewing of education
resources
Disseminating environmental resource materials to appropriate
internal and external clients
Setting up and manning e.g career and other exhibition
Handling correspondence and requests for environmental services
from internal and external clients.
