Tester (Repair Centre)

Conducting diagnostic testing on EFT/POS devices to identify and rectify defects and faults. Preparing new terminals by loading correct customer software and ensure EFT/POS devices are sent for key injections.

Duties:

Meet and maintain the acceptable quality standards of terminals as per the quality standard process
Verify terminal repair history on the system to comply with guarantee and warranty agreements per customer
Test and repair 15 -20 terminals a day as per the Operating Standard
Prepare 150-200 new EFT devices a day for delivery to customers as per the Operating Standard
Communicate spare shortages that can impact output to supervisor daily via mail
Comply with health and safety standards as per the Operating Standards and OHASA Act
Coach and mentor learners on the Tester Operating Standards
Meet the requirements of the agreed personal development plan
Adhere to Altron TMT policies and procedures
