Supply Chain: Executive Consultant

Our client private sector is looking for Supply Chain Executive. They work with their clients to re-engineer their most complex strategic challenges and build bespoke, practical solutions to help them streamline operations and develop practical implementation plans to reduce the business challenges rooted in their operational environments. Their broad expertise assist clients to rapidly identify opportunities to improve cash flow and profitability.

Responsibilities:

Strategic sourcing experience across multiple projects (experience in public sector procurement will be an advantage)
Have been involved in savings and cost optimisation from a procurement perspective
Have been exposed to demand planning and developing procurement plans
Contract Negotiation
Policies and procedures
Manage a team of approximately 5 people
continuous improvement projects within Supplier Relationship Management
governance (i.e. policies, sop etc.) within the SCM environment.
Consulting experience:

be able to work independently with minimum supervision
advanced capability in PowerPoint, reporting, project management, and presenting at various forums
business process mapping (added advantage)
Education and Experience:

BCom Supply Chain Management
BCom Supply Chain Procurement
5 - 10 years experience with atleast 5 in a executive management
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), MCIPS will be an advantage Degree
Driver's Licence advantageous
