It All Starts With You
To resolve fraud queries at first point of contact and ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service in an effort to minimise fraud losses
What You’ll Give Our Customers
Operations Management (65%)
Minimize fraud losses through sound technical knowledge and record onto fraud system
Use telephonic interviewing techniques, to determine risk
Block the channel to prevent further transactions and losses
Handle and put suspicious enquiries on hold, in accordance with legislation
Refer confirmed fraud related cases to Back Office
Communicate new fraud trends to team Leaders and Managers for further action
Innovates and champions change management (10%)
Assist in enhancing operating systems for optimal results
Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the content of the procedures, processes and investigation methodologies in the business
Risk and Control (15%)
Take accountability for risk events and the delivery of specified controls
Reporting of risks and controls that ensures compliance
Keep abreast with compliance and regulatory requirements and execute with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain an effective Quality Assurance environment
Adhere to organisational circulars, policies, business standards and other communications that impact on the operation of the business unit
Stakeholder Management (10%)
Work closely and collaboratively with the members of the Investigation Units
Maintain a high level of professionalism in stakeholder interactions, including written and verbal communications, based on sound knowledge of processes and procedures

Requirements
National Diploma in Banking and/or Forensic Investigation and/or Certificate in Risk and Compliance or Equivalent (NQF5 Banking or higher)
4 Years Banking Experience with a minimum of 2 years’ fraud experience
Assertive communication skills
Sound exposure to Fraud Analysis
No Criminal Record
