Alexander Forbes is looking for a Senior Disability Consultant to manage disability claims within client portfolio, perform disability assessments and consult to clients with regards to disability and incapacity.
Minimum Requirements...
Formal Qualification

BSC Occupational Therapy/ BSC Physiotherapy
3- 5 years clinical experience and / or experience in the insurance or health risk management industry


Job Specification...
Key Performance Area:

To manage the disability, ill health and incapacity claims, within your clients portfolio

Perform disability assessments
Liaise with the relevant insurers
Liaise with the client
Compile reports to clients, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
Consulting

Consult with corporate clients on absenteeism, disability, ill health and incapacity issues
Case Management

Ensure claims (incapacity and disability) allocated meet the required standard
Deal with Clients queries
Ensure effective communication with role players involved in the claims process
Client Management

Ensure that the client is satisfied with the service received in terms of the claims management
Conduct training sessions and presentations to clients
Compile Trustee reports and present to Trustees
General

Positive feedback from clients
Improved adherence to processes by all role players 10% 5

Assist in projects where required
Attend all meetings where required
Further Education

Engage in professional and other developmental activities, as they arise e.g. CPD sessions etc
