A well-established manufacturing group has a vacancy for a Sales Support person that will provide technical support to sales reps, process and capture orders and be involved with the produciton planning.
Responsibilities:

Know the market definition and be able to interact from any point competently and constructively
Know the sale strategy, sales organogram, processes and procedures
Be able to describe the market, different channels, each customer' business to understand the customer' needs
Be able to interact with the market in a mature way
Provide technical support
Know the competititors and their products
Be available and support reps fast and accurate
Have stock available, stock being manufactured, stock released, transport and credit limit information on hand all the time
Process and capture orders accurately.
Be involved in production planning
Know the products and relevant standards

Know the interal workings of the business as a whole
Daily/weekly focus points
Requirements:

Matric
MS Office (Word and Excel)
Pastel experience will be advantageous
Bilingual
Must have a stable record of employment in a position where computer work on Word and Excel was part of the day
Must have worked in a service industry where interaction and follow up with customers was a daily task
Exposure in a technical environment will be advantageous
Market related salary.
