The Truck Operator is responsible for effectively operating the Truck to transport and dump large loads according operational needs

Duties

Effective Loading and Hauling Operations
Safety, Health and Environment
Good relations
Administration
Effective Loading and Hauling
Conduct pre-operational checks on truck to specified working procedures
Complete load, haul and dump activities to required procedures
Operate communications systems to specification
Ensures trucks are operated according to safety and health specifications
Provide effective team support

 

 
Complete /support / supply accurate information
Qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills:

Grade 12 or equivalent
Haul truck certificate (Rigid dump truck/haul truck)
One year Truck Operator operation experience
Competent in relevant unit standards
Valid driving licence code 08 or 14
