Reservations and Revenue Manager for a World class 5 star Hotel in Umhlanga
We are currently in search of a Revenue and Reservations manager for a World Class award winning 5 Star luxury Hotel based in Umhlanga. The ideal Candidate must come from a 5 star establishment.
Job Summary: To lead the Reservations team towards meeting and exceeding the requirements of the establishment
Key Responsibilities:
Implement rooms revenue management operations, procedures and best practices
Provide daily, weekly and monthly rooms reporting
Oversee rooms revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations
Daily rooms revenue pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
Perform competitive rooms revenue benchmark studies and follow market trends
Create and maintain a 6 month rolling rooms demand calendar, and maintain yield calendar
Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
Ensure all related rooms revenue systems are configured correctly, validated and working to full capacity
Ensure Leading Hotels of the World and Mystery Shopper compliance within the team
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 yearsβ experience as a Reservations & Revenue Manager in a recognizable establishment
Excellent Communicator and Effective Leader
A degree or diploma in Hospitality preferable
Keen sense of attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet the requirements of the position
