Job description

Strategies
Develop plans on increasing productive promo/advertising
Establish schedules and material to meet due dates and client needs
Develop all sale promotion policies and programs
Perform research on all new promotional revenue streams and develop all required sales products
Strategic promotions planning and marketing
Prepare forecasts for all promotional revenue and plan all activities
Promotional tools and training
Oversee the recruitment and training process of promoters
Estimate and allocate budget in the recruitment and training
Coordinate programmes planned for promotions
Supervise all media activities and provide all script writing techniques
Management
Manage and oversee campaigns and the smooth running in all regions
Mentor staff in achieving high standards
Assess staff performance
Create feedback material to improve on future campaigns
In performing these duties the employee shall at all times exhibit full loyalty towards the employer
Coordinate with the team and prepare financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis
Analyse all monthly reports and ensure adherence to all budgets
The employee shall be required to perform other duties from time to time, which may reasonably be expected of her within the operation of the employer’s business

Requirements
Five years' relevant experience
Advanced Excel Skills

Responsible for regular reporting to Management
Competencies required
Be assertive
Diploma preferred or equivalent job-related experience
Significant experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, or retail is highly desirable
Must be confident, and articulate to speak effectively and informatively with consumers
Independent and motivated team player
Ability to stand comfortably for up to eight hours a day
Availability to work over a weekend and public holidays in the event that an activation is running
Minimal travel required for training or other scheduled events
Ability to build strong relationships with store Managers and store customers
Friendly, outgoing personality; confidence and enthusiasm to engage retail shoppers
Great communication skills e.g. ability to connect with customers and sell products
Basic knowledge of how to use a computer; access the internet; send, receive, and review email; download documents from website or email; submit event reports
Conduct demonstration within period of time designated for the event
Execute demonstrations on scheduled date and time
Satisfactory completion of background check/drug testing subject to applicable law
Must perform the job safely and utilise proper safety techniques and use of equipment when appropriate. Executes verbal and written business communications, in a manner that effectively achieves business objectives, reflects the company's commitment to integrity, and is in keeping with company policies (Including Code of conduct)
