National automotive components manufacturer is urgently looking to appoint a Process Engineer at their plant. Automotive industry experience is essential for this position

Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 + a tertiary qualification in Total Quality Management
Mechanical Diploma / Qualified Toolmaker
Minimum of 3 year’s quality / process engineering experience within the automotive stamping environment
2 Year’s working experience in the use of quality core tools; SPC, MSA, FMEA, Control Plans ESSENTIAL
Sound knowledge of PRESS TOOLING!!!!
Quality systems and concepts
Manufacturing processes
Customer Specific Requirements
Understanding of stamiping process & Measuring Report Essential
Core Tool: FMEA, SPC, MSA & Control plans
Planning and organising
Analysis and presenting of data
Advanced Computer skills
Responsibilities

Ensure customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered
Manufacture and design of tooling for new products
Quality systems and concepts
Manufacturing processes
Customer specific requirements
Understanding of stamping process & measuring reports Essential
Creating process documentation
Ensure production targets are met
Continues improvement projects
Change management documentation
Production capacity planning
Customer requirements are met with regards to geometry and quality of the product delivered






OWN TRANSPORT AND VALID DRIVERS LICENCE ESSENTIAL
