The KZN Agriculture team is on the hunt for Poultrymen to join the Broiler operation with a direct report to the Assistant Farmer.


Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 (Matric)
1 year’s relevant broiler farm experience.
Physically able to work.
Adherence to Bio-Security and other rules.
Willingness to work overtime.
Poultry experience would be an advantage.
A self-starter.
Team player.
Willing to work a continuous operation.


Duties & Responsibilities
Feeding the chickens.
Attend to feeder lines and feed spillages.
Cleaning of drinkers.
Attend and maintain water/nipple lines.
Collection of mortalities.
Turning of litter.
Weighing of chickens at various ages during the cycle.
Housekeeping.
Reporting of equipment failures in the chicken houses to Farm Manager or Assistant Farmer.
