· Manage a team of planners with the purpose of ensuring that optimal productivity performance is achieved.

· Manage production planners ensuring that all machines and jobs are at optimal performance.

· Monitor production status to ensure all jobs planned and in process are completed on time.

· Communicate with Sales on any projected completion times, relaying timeous information on any envisaged delay.

· Liaise with relevant Production Managers on any production issues.

· Continual assess and improve systems to improve productivity.

· Update SOPS and systems.

· Compile Production reports for submission to Production manager.

· Manage and discipline staff according to internal policy and processes.

· Monitor attendance of planners to ensure continuity of planning.

· Adhere to health & safety requirements and ensure employees are compliant at all times

Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards in accordance with policies

· Standard 10 / Grade 12 or equivalent

· Min 5 years in a Corporate Branding (production environment)

· Supervisory experience will be a distinct advantage

· Excellent English communication skills, oral and written.

· Excellent computer skills, working with MS Office and Amtrack

Must be prepared to work overtime / weekends / shifts in accordance with operational requirements

· Ability to lead a team of planners

· Ability to plan, lead and organise teams and processes

· Good sense of urgency and exigency

· Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and composed and focus on getting the job done.

· Ability to work at an extensive pace

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Analytical skill to quickly solve both complex and uncomplicated problems.
