Exciting and dynamic career opportunity for a Strategic Marketing Manager based in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

Responsibilities:

-Strategic marketing management
- Digitial channels : development, implementation and maintenance of digital customer engagement and sales channels for top corporate, including web and social media platforms
-Attracting prospective customers to these channels
-Converting prospective customers to actual customers through these digital channels as well as in partnership with other sales channels such as telesales call centres
-Development of marketing strategies and plans in support of these digital channels
-Ensure the overall economic and financial outcomes required by the business in executing these activities, are achieved
-Internal stakeholder relationship management
-Ensure convenient customer experience across all customer touch points in the business
-Product development: with a specific focus on product feature innovation and ensuring that a competitive value proposition is maintained in the market

-Customer segmentation and engagement strategy:
-Identifying and segmenting potential and existing customers and markets
- Designing and executing engagement strategies for the various segments
-Deepening the relationship with each segment and the business, in support of the strategic and financial objectives of the business
-Researching and providing “breakthrough” customer insights that inform productvimprovements as well drive the evolution of customer engagements
-Stakeholder relationship management

- Degree/Post Graduate qualification in Marketing
- Experience in retail financial services in South Africa, preferably long
term insurance
- Experience in the development and execution of marketing strategies to midmarket
consumers in South Africa
-Experience in the establishment and management of digital channels
-Willingness to pursue further studies in relevant fields.
