Junior Camera Technician

💰Salary	R 6000 per month + pension fund

A company in Centurion, specialising in the distribution, as well as importing of quality products is looking for a Junior Camera Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairs, calibration and support on Nikon and Sony equipment.
Duties:



Interpreting technical manuals
Give advice on equipment, shooting style and accessories
Fault-finding on photographic equipment
Identifying needed parts
Assemble and disassemble parts from a repair manual
Record reasons for malfunctions
Complete and update the service system
Cleaning and servicing of equipment
Participate in censor cleaning days

Support customers, give advice on equipment
Software and technical support to end users
Minimum Requirements:



Matric Certificate
Computer literacy
S4 qualification or currently studying towards
Previous experience working with tools and jigs in a photographic environment
Solder and de-solder experience that are up to factory standards
Basic understanding of Photography (Light, exposure and colour)
1-2 years’ experience as a technical trainee or junior technician
AX Dynamics experience will be advantageous
Good communication skills (e-mails to clients are critical)
Salary:



R 6000 per month + pension fund





Working hours:



Monday to Friday 08h00 to 17h00 | Saturdays - 08h00 to 12h00

Required to work at least one Saturday per month and during events on weekends/public holidays
