Internal Audit Manager

A leading listed food service distributor is looking for a high calibre internal audit manager with FMCG and/or Retail experience.

Conducting internal audits at various branches/factories independently and in a team
Manage/supervise and review the audit team and audit work
Facilitate the implementation of recommendations
Carry out internal audit activities as may be necessary for the successful execution of the audit plan for the year
Manage performance on ad-hoc projects or special investigations
Identify weaknesses in procedures, systems and internal controls.
Perform stock-take audits at various branches/factories/divisions
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

BCom Accounting or Internal Auditing Degree
Certified Internal Auditor

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum five years post articles experience
Experience in the FMCG/Retail industry is mandatory with particular attention to stock and debtors experience

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Good verbal and written communication skills
Accuracy and ability to pay attention to detail
Strong planning, organisational and analytical skills
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Must be willing to travel - 60% - 70% travel component (Locally)
