Introduction
INTELEGENCE OFFICER The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that all site specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Clients needs are efficiently and professionally met at all times.
Description
Reports directly to the Site manager at Steyn city.
Line of communication with Fidelity National investigation /intel services .
The main function of the functionary is to establish and maintain a proactive intelligence gathering infrastructure inside and in the immediately area bordering Steyn city .
The development of a Estate intelligence flow chart - pro actively and reactively ( intelligence reports immediately after an incident )
Must provide weekly updated confidential reports to the client with regards to ;
Current projects and investigations /client taskings
Possible crime /reputational threats identified within Steyn city .
Possible crime /reputational threats identified in the immediate area surrounding Steyn city .
The monitoring of all social media that could impact on the safety or reputation of the Estate .
Attendance of weekly meeting /briefing with client .
Attendance of weekly SCCF Douglasdale SAPS meeting at Indaba hotel .

Attendance of monthly intelligence liaison meetings with Regional manager and national inteigence office ( Fidelity) in the Dainfern/Steyn city cluster .
Liaising with foreign and local law enforcement and government agencies regarding security enquiries pertaining to the Estate .
The profiling of elements inside and outside Steyn city that could possibly pose a risk to the safety and security on the Estate.
Coordinating the vetting of residents and staff including FSS guard force .
Assist Steyn city with a cyber security prevention strategy .
Involvement in all Fidelity strategies on the Estate to counter external threats such as kidnapping of VIP.S , Land grabbing, pollical unrest .
Assisting the site manager with his monthly risk register submission .
The investigation of all serious crime related incidents .
The establishment of a informer intelligence infrastructure on the Estate and in the immediate area surrounding the Estate
The establishment of information hotlines /and or drop boxes /projects ( domestic workers watches ) etc
The execution of deep cover covert operations in consultation with the Estates RM/Steyn city client if and when needed .
The linking and utilization of current Steyn city data and technology in order to proactively identify threats to the Steyn city client .
Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client with regard to security services rendered
Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services
Ensuring continuous assessment of the Client's premises and minimizing as far as possible risky access and creating several barriers to would be criminals.
Auditing and verifying the access registers on a daily basis and generating exception reports.
Managing all projects concerning new business and ensuring the smooth take over thereof.
Ensuring that all Security Officers on site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client
General management and supervision of Security staff and ensuring that all administrative queries are dealt with promptly
Submitting relevant monthly reports to the Client and Management

Core Competencies:

Must have wharehouse experience
Previous staff management experience is required
Computer literacy
Profile
Matric certificate and should be Psira Grade A registered and accredited
At least 5 years' experience in security management
Experience in Quality Management System
NOSAISO Management experience
Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Incumbents should be prepared to work shifts and do site visits after hours.
Must have Food logistics experience
Own vehicle and valid driverss licence
Must have own laptop
