3 Year National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related (Essential)
3 – 5 Years in Generalist Human Resource Management of which at least 2 years must be in a management/leadership
Understanding and knowledge of respective legislation: COIDA; BCEA; SDA; LRA; EEA; SDA; UIF
Understanding and knowledge of respective HR Policies, procedures and processes
Computer literate in MS Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
Proven ability to adapt and respond to change
Proven ability to make decisions and initiate actions
Functions / responsibilities:
To execute the Business Unit HR Strategy in line with the Organisational Strategy
Ensuring the successful execution of Key HR Deliverables:
Recruitment and Selection
Performance coaching
Motivation, Reward and Recognition
Information management (Reporting and Compliance)
HR performance indicators and budgeting
People efficiencies
Lead, Manage and Develop people
Staff management
Implementation of store Employment Equity Plan
Management of industrial relations
Accurate processing of all HR Administration functions such as minutes, warnings, investigations, leave, casual wages etc
Ensure the induction of new employees
Ensure standards of excellence are achieved and maintained in all store Human Resources processes
Ensure all HR Policies and procedures are implemented
Develop and support effective working relationships between key internal stakeholders
Liaise with HR Team and relevant Line Management in solving HR related issues in the business
Actively participate in driving the Builders Formula for success and promoting the in-store culture
Lead, manage and develop people
