Opportunity exists for Hospital General Manager at private hospital on the East Rand.
Bachelor’s Degree / Related (NQF 7)

Post Gradate Qualification would be advantageous

5+ year’s senior management experience in a hospital or service related environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Providing strategic direction and implementing key performance areas for the business unit.

Develop a stakeholder strategy for business growth and new development, specific to new doctors and specialists.

Refer potential new business opportunities to Regional Director for further consideration.

Analyse business relationships, determining due diligence requirements and measuring risks.

Investigating economic conditions surrounding business activity i.e. industry trends and competition.

Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.

Maintain and assist with the development of a detailed business plan to ensure effective accomplishments of potential income and market share growth.

Secure and manage sufficient financial resources to facilitate business development or expansion.

Conduct opportunity viability assessments.

Ensure operational efficiency which includes management of financial indicators.

Prepare annual funding estimates, forecasting the demand for services and allocating budgets.
