To provide financial expertise and wealth creation advice to Nedbank clients in order to make Nedbank the great place to bank. Offering appropriate financial Planning for the well-being of the bank's clients, whilst maintaining the interests of the bank. To add value to a customer base via the provision of appropriate financial advice and selling appropriate financial products to customers, thereby meeting the clients unique financial needs.
Analyse reports to determine potential clients for new business.
Meet FP targets as stipulated by Nedbank
Provide excellent face to face and telephonic services to customers
Facilitates intra branch referrals by building mutually beneficial relationships with other business units.
To establish a new business pipeline through marketing; lead generation and tracking.
Ensure that the structured financial solutions meet clients' identified needs to get approval/acceptance from the client.
Ensure the Record of Advice and other relevant documentation are prepared to propose implementation.
Implement the recommended financial solutions by submitting all relevant documents to service providers.
Create additional business by referring banking financial needs to bankers.
Attend all team meetings to provide a report on the status of leads.
Build trust and gain authority with clients by discussing the mandate as required by the Financial Advisory Intermediary Services (FAIS) legislation.
Gather client data to gain an understanding of client’s current financial status and objectives from the client capture / information forms.
Perform risk assessment through completing the risk analysis.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).
Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
Create and manage business relationship with bankers through collaboration to encourage leads generation.
Ensure that bankers are informed on how to identify potential opportunities with clients through informal training.
Conduct financial needs analysis in line with the client objectives to identify client potential needs.
Provide client feedback recommendations by providing solutions through Nedbank approved financial products and funds.
Review client solutions on dates agreed on Record of Advice.
Manage and review the client relationships through monitoring client’s personal and financial circumstances and ongoing needs.
Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters; websites and attending sessions.
Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed; experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
Ensure information is provided correctly to stakeholders by maintaining knowledge sharing knowledge with team.
Ensure continuous professional development by attending training and industry related presentation.

Financial Planners are not to be under supervision
Training
Product training is provided by product providers.
A week’s in house systems training is provided.
Minimum Job Requirements
Computer Literate and own laptop
1 years’ experience
RE 5
NQF Level skills programme at Level 5
Business Degree or CFP Qualification
Certification : Financial Planning Institute
