Customer Service Agent

Main Purpose:
To provide world-class client service through both verbal and written channels to our internal and external clients in the most effective and efficient manner pertaining to the client’s international shipments’ status, requirements and any other specified needs.
Job Specification Summary
Arrange collections
Queries – Track and Trace
Arrange return shipments
Hardcopy pods request
Client customs document request
Arrange special deliveries for clients
End of month accruals
Pending bay / floor queries
Send Pod reports to clients daily/weekly and monthly
Operations quality check
General queries
Ensure all customers/client interactions are dealt with
Meet client/customer and company performance standards
Maintain sound working relationships with clients/customers
Ensure client/customer queries are answered timeously
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Post Matric Certificate or Diploma
Matric qualification is necessary
Customer Services related qualification would be an added advantage
Experience
Courier industry experience is an added advantage
Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer services / call centre environment
International customs experience
Very good command of the English language both written and verbal
Must be able to work well in a team and under pressure
Well-mannered and presentable for an office environment
Efficient in executing duties
Good time management to meet set deadlines
Self motivated
Effective administration
Good communication skills
Candidate must have their own reliable transport to work and be able to work and fulfil their allocated shift times during the day.
