Certification Officer (JB2814)
Woodmead
R10 000 Per month

Responsible for issuing of certificates, academic records, completion letters according to educational policies and procedures. The Certification Officer plays a vital role in assisting the manager and HoAO in planning the graduation. Mentors and oversees junior members of the certifications department.

Educational Requirements:
Grade 12
Relevant Diploma
Min 3 years’ experience as Certification Officer in educational sector preferred.
Supervision experience preferred.
MS Office proficient, ICT systems and LMS
ICAS knowledge preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage student and staff queries with regards to certification and academic records
Verify data on electronic student management system before dispatching data to universities and before issuing qualifications.
Take ownership of graduation verification process, in close collaboration with the Quality Assurance manager, heads of faculty, the Dean and report into the HoAO
Take ownership of graduation planning process in close collaboration with manager and report into HoAO
Channel certificates, diplomas, degrees through correct authorities for signing off.
Keep channels of communication open with various branches, with regards to certification and graduation requirements and queries
Ensure secure keeping of templates and dispatch of certificates, diploma, degrees.
Ensure all documentation is in correct format and order.
Monthly reporting to Head of Academic Operations
