Butchery Specialist-SPAR

SPAR North Rand, a division of The SPAR Group Ltd, Is recruiting for a Butchery Specialist At its Distribution Centre, located in Olifantsfontein

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To consult and assist the retailers in order for them to become more profitable in their butcheries.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Audit sales profit and stock figures
Train in store Blockmen according to SPAR standards and specifications
Monitor and improve meat sales on drop shipment
Monitor and improve meat sales on Tender & Tasty, DC suppliers
Manage capital equipment suppliers and quotes for new stores
Assist retailers with improving growth and profitability of meat departments

Liaise and assist with store openings and re-launches
Build team concepts
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Matric
N2 meat cutting certificate
Minimum of 5 years Butchery Management experience
Accreditation to become a trainer would be an added advantage
Driver’s License
Valid passport
Financial knowledge, analytical and computer skills
Good communication skills
Good organizer
Sound butchery knowledge
Salary: Market Related
