Site and Contracts Manager

The company is urgently looking for a Site Supervisor in the Gauteng area. They deliver Non Destructive Testing and CM solutions to a wide spectrum of industries meeting and often exceeding internationally accepted specifications or standards, the key industries being Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Mining and Transportation.

The Site and Contracts Manager mainly deals with the management of project executions. The main accountability of the job holder is to:
• Carry out surveillance for new contracts and projects both locally and internationally.
• Respond to tenders and enquiries.
• Prepare proposals, bids or quotations in response to tenders, RFQs and other enquiries.
• Draft and review contracts,
• Manage site execution of project contracts in the most economic and effective manner possible while maintaining statutory safety requirements as well as adhering to inhouse and client safety requirements.
The candidate taking up this position must, as a minimum be:

A) A university or college graduate with a science or engineering degree or national diploma preferably in Non-Destructive Testing or affiliated field.
B) At least 7 years’ experience in the field of Non Destructive Testing and Contracts Management
C) Held NDT Level III or II certification in at least three or more methods with either ASNT, PCN or SAQCC.
D) Held a senior position in manging a team of technical people for at least 3 years
E) Be a member of an NDT society
R35 - R40,000 Basic Salary depending on experience
