PRINTER OPERATOR - EAST LONDON

Qualifications & Experience Required:
Grade 12 essential
Trade tested in Corrugated Board Printing and Finishing Machine Minding

2 years’ experience & knowledge in operating a printing machine
Controlling operations or equipment or systems
Computer literate: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & in-house systems
Must be able and willing to work shifts & overtime when required

KPA's:

Operating and setting of printing machine as per the requirements
Comply with all quality, safety and environmental procedures within the organisation and work within the parameters of the ISO systems
Work closely with team members to provide a safe work environment
Examination and thorough assessment of the needs stipulated by each particular works orders
Guarantee that the end product fulfils those requirements of the customer.
Ensure that housekeeping within the department is of a high standard at all times
Maintain and update in-house systems on a daily basis
