FARM MANAGER

Keiskammahoek Area – EC: A well-established Dairy Farm has an opening for an (Outside) Farm Manager, to oversee the operations and maintenance of a 770 ha of irrigated land.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Agricultural Diploma/Degree
3- 5 years Managerial position on a Dairy Farm
Previous irrigation and pivot experience
Mechanically orientated
Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous
Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

*General Farm Management. *Fertilization Program *Irrigation Scheduling and Management *Tractor Scheduling *Maintenance and Preventative maintenance of: Irrigation Pumps/ Pivots, Tractors and Implements, Fencing and water troughs, Fixed Infrastructure, Parlor and Milking Equipment *Staff management and training *Monthly reporting and other as requested by Management.
